Spiritual facilities include nearly 500
churches and synagogues in the El Paso / Doņa Ana County region, which represents
more than sixty denominations and faiths. Baptist, Catholic, Episcopal, Jewish,
Lutheran, Methodist, Muslim, Unitarian, and other organizations all serve the community.
Spiritual opportunities abound throughout
Las Cruces and Doņa Ana County. Virtually all major religions are represented
in over 200 churches, synagogues and mosques.
Religious facilities range from the historic, such as San Albino on the Plaza in
historic La Mesilla, to the modern non-denominational centers located throughout
the county. A number of these facilities offer parochial or private education on site.
