Texas Workforce Commission The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has a wide array of employer services, including statewide recruitment, interviewing and assessment, employability training and referral. Drawing from both state and federal dollars, TWC can fund customized training programs and help employers access available tax credits for employing disadvantaged youth. TWC services are available to any company located in Texas. TWC Draws from a broad cross-section of interested applicants for jobs, and maintains the largest database of job seekers in the state. For job seekers who are dislocated workers, TWC services are extensive, including customized training, on-the-job training recruitment, interviewing and assessment, employability training. English as a second-language, basic skills, technical skills training, and screening and referral.
Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center The University of Texas at El Paso offers manufacturing assistance services to small business and ISO training programs to all companies. In some cases, training programs and assistance programs can be funded through State of Texas Smart Jobs Funds or Enterprise Community Funds. |
