Ballet of El Paso
Since 1960, different venues host
Ballet El Paso's three annual productions including one just for children.
El Paso Symphony Orchestra
From September through April, the El
Paso Symphony Orchestra presents a varied series of concerts featuring eight
paired concerts in addition to a pops concert series and six young people's
concerts.
UTEP Union Dinner Theatre
Composed primarily of UTEP students,
performances typically are scheduled nightly from Wednesday through Saturday
with a Sunday afternoon matinee.
Ballet Folklorico
Performing at many venues,
Rosa Guerro's company of folklorico dancers has won national Acclaim
performing before presidents, international dignitaries and plain folks,
like you and me.
Viva El Paso
One of American's most popular musicals,
Viva! is now in its third decade. The cast of over 50 professional singers,
actors, and dancers, highlight four centuries of El Paso's Indian, Spanish,
Mexican, and Anglo cultures.
Music Under the Stars
Beginning the first Sunday in June
through August, the Chamizal National Memorial hosts weekly concerts, ranging
from classical to blues to Latin Jazz, big band, country and more.
Broadway Series
Local media joins forces,
about 4 times a year with national promoters to bring touring Broadway
productions, to the Abraham Chavez theatre and to the Chamizal National
Memorial theatre.
