Cuidad Juarez, or simply Juarez, is located on the northern part of State of Chihuahua. The city is united with El Paso, Texas, by the Rio Grande River. Together, El Paso and Juarez form the largest international border community in the world. In addition to their location, strong manufacturing base, inseparable economies, cultures and histories, these cities are a natural transition point between both countries. More, Juarez is the fourth largest city in Mexico and the undisputed economic center of northern Mexico. As such, many maquiladoras are present in Juarez due to the favorable business athmosphere.
